CAST 2010: Software testers teach new tricks, hone skills and perfect testing

The fifth annual CAST conference will take place August 2-4 at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The CAST conference series attracts a unique blend of testers. These are the testers looking to hone their existing skills, learn brainstorming and problem solving techniques and brush up on new software tools. CAST speaker sessions focus mainly on training testers to become better testers. Best practices are identified and discussed, and then taught.

SearchSoftwareQuality's assistant site editor will be at CAST along with Rebel Alliance members from STAREast 2010. In lieu of repeating the STAREast Rebel Alliance title, the Rebels have swapped their brand over to the "CASTaways". The CASTaways will be attending sessions as a group, discussing trends, popular tools and techniques and giving presentations similarly to how they behaved at STAREast.
