VMLogix adds support for testing in the cloud

Cloud computing continues to loom as an important venue for software development and test. Virtual machine management software maker VMlogix, which helped pioneer creation of virtual labs for testing complex applications, has stepped into the fray with a beta version of its platform that supports virtual labs working on the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2).

VMlogix managers say the capability can be combined with the company's established offering in cases where test teams need more computers to support heavy loads at 'crunch' time.
