Software requirements lifecycle the focus of new forum |

A successful software project starts with well-defined requirements. To help companies accomplish that important task, Blueprint, a provider of requirements lifecycle products, today announced the launch of the Requirements Forum and Requirements.net.
The goal is to raise awareness of the critical need to define and manage software requirements to ensure resulting IT systems truly meet critical business needs.
The Forum will bring together industry leaders, top analysts and the vendor community spanning all disciplines within requirements definition and management. Participants in the Forum, which was co-founded by Blueprint, HP, Orasi Software, Cortechs, Sky IT Group, and the Requirements Networking Group (RQNG), will share best practices and key issues that must be solved to ensure software requirements are aligned with business needs.
The Forum will be hosted in a number of cities nationwide, beginning this month, and is open to the public. Participants will include the following:
- Matt Morgan, CMO of Blueprint Systems
- Mark Sarbiewski, senior director of product marketing at HP Software
- Steven Davis, director of professional services for Orasi Software
- Keith Barrett, business development & practice manager, Requirements Lifecycle Acceleration for SkyIT Group
