About Application Lifecycle Management Tools and Processes
Application lifecycle management (ALM) pertains to methods, processes and tools covering the gamut of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). ALM methods range from traditional Waterfall approach of development through the various Agile approaches such as Scrum and XP. ALM processes start with requirements and end with maintenance. ALM Tools help the software development team manage the processes. These tools include those that manage one or more aspects of the application lifecycle, and can include a fully integrated suite of tools managing multiple software development processes.
