Flowcharts can help you see what parts of a software project needs to be programmed, and they can help you keep track of steps that have been completed.

security measures. Complicated pieces of software should have more detailed flowcharts. You can always add to the flowchart as time goes on, plus you can use the flowchart to check off the steps that you have taken.
